Handcrafted in the UK by our experienced team, our Mercedes-Benz OM651 decat downpipe is designed to improve exhaust flow and support increased performance in compatible Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles.

Manufactured from high-quality 304-grade stainless steel, this downpipe is designed to replace the factory catalytic converter (CAT) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) for dedicated off-road and motorsport applications.

Now in its second-generation design, the downpipe features revised 2.5-inch diameter pipework, developed to deliver a crisper, more refined exhaust tone without compromising performance.

The updated design also allows for easier installation and more cost-effective manufacturing, enabling us to offer a high-quality stainless steel downpipe at a competitive price.

This downpipe has been developed for installation on compatible Mercedes-Benz W212 vehicles equipped with the OM651 twin-turbo diesel engine.

Revised Pipework – The second-generation 2.5-inch design has been developed to provide easier installation compared with the previous version.
Exhaust Compatibility – Please confirm your vehicle's existing exhaust connections and configuration before purchasing.
ECU Software Requirements – ECU software modifications may be required following installation to prevent engine management warning lights and running issues. Any modifications must be appropriate for the vehicle's intended off-road or motorsport use and comply with applicable regulations.

All Groovy Stance decat downpipes are manufactured and sold strictly for off-road, motorsport and competition use only. They are not approved for use on public roads.

This product is designed to replace factory emissions-control equipment, including the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and/or catalytic converter, where applicable.

Removing or modifying emissions-control equipment can make a vehicle non-compliant with UK road-vehicle emissions regulations. A vehicle with required emissions-control equipment removed will fail its UK MOT inspection. Similar restrictions may apply in other countries.

By purchasing and/or installing this product, the customer acknowledges that:

This product is supplied exclusively for off-road, motorsport or competition applications.
The customer is responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
The vehicle must not be operated on public roads in a configuration that breaches emissions or roadworthiness legislation.
Groovy Stance is not responsible for MOT or inspection failures, fines, penalties or other consequences arising from unlawful installation or use, to the extent permitted by law.
The vehicle must be returned to a road-legal, emissions-compliant configuration before being used on public roads or presented for a roadworthiness inspection.

Purchasing this product confirms your understanding that it is an off-road/motorsport component and is not supplied as a road-legal replacement for factory emissions-control equipment.
